What to look for in a gang sheet builder
- What it does with bad files. Every builder accepts uploads. The question is what happens when a file is 72 DPI, has a white background, a glow or hairline text. Warnings move the problem to your customer and your inbox. Fixes remove it.
- Pricing model. A percentage per order (typically 3 to 5%, often capped per order) or a flat monthly fee. At volume, the difference is large; see how to price gang sheets.
- Platform. Shopify only, Shopify plus WooCommerce, or also standalone for customers who do not order through a store.
- Output. A 300 DPI PNG with real transparency, in one file per sheet, that your RIP accepts without manual work.

PrintReadySheets
Best for: shops that print customer artwork and want fewer files sent back, at a predictable price.
PrintReadySheets is a gang sheet builder with a prepress model built in. PixlPilot preflight checks every upload at the size it will be printed, and instead of stopping at a warning, it repairs the file: it thickens lines that are too thin to hold, cleans soft and semi-transparent edges that cause white halos, removes leftover backgrounds, and upscales low-resolution art with a model trained on digital artwork rather than photos. The customer sees the fixed version on the sheet.

Antigro Gang Sheet Builder
Best for: shops that want auto-nesting and background removal, and halftone tools.
Antigro (also at gangsheetbuilder.com) offers auto-build, background removal and trimming, halftone, templates, text and a Canva integration. Its documentation describes detecting low DPI and showing a warning, after which the customer can replace the file or accept the risk. Pricing is 5% per print-ready file. Kixxl
Best for: shops on WooCommerce as well as Shopify, or high-volume shops that prefer a fixed tier.
Kixxl has one-click auto-build, warns customers about low-DPI files at checkout, exports PNG, PDF or TIFF at 300 DPI, and includes a sticker maker. It is the only established builder here with WooCommerce support. The new AI builders
Quick Sheets, Packly, PTB, DTFWiz, DTF Gang Sheet Studio, SheetGangster and others launched in 2026 with AI upscaling and background removal. They show where the market is going: fixing files, not just flagging them. Most have very few reviews so far. If you consider one, test it with your worst real customer files, not the demo images, and look at the edges and thin lines of the result at print size.
How to choose
- You print a lot of customer artwork: choose a builder that fixes files. Test it with five of your worst recent uploads.
- You are growing: compare a percentage fee against a flat fee at your expected volume, not your current one.
- You sell outside Shopify: check for standalone or WooCommerce support.
- You value track record over features: the established apps have more reviews; read the negative ones.
