PrintReadySheets vs Antigro Gang Sheet Builder

PrintReadySheets vs Antigro (gangsheetbuilder.com): pricing, how each handles low-resolution files, background removal, thin lines and halos, and platforms, compared.

In short: Antigro's Gang Sheet Builder is a mature, well-rated builder with auto-nesting, background removal, halftone tools and a Canva integration. When a file is too low in resolution, it warns the customer. PrintReadySheets goes a step further and fixes the file: it upscales artwork, thickens thin lines and cleans edges before printing, for a flat monthly price instead of 5% per file.

The key difference: warn or fix

Antigro's own documentation describes how it handles low resolution: it detects that the DPI is too low and shows a warning, after which the customer can replace the file or continue at their own risk. That is better than no check at all, but in practice many customers do not have a better file, so they either continue anyway or contact your support.

PrintReadySheets checks each file at its print size and repairs it. Low-resolution artwork is upscaled with a model trained on logos, illustrations and text, thin lines are thickened so they hold on the garment, semi-transparent edges that would print as white halos are cleaned, and leftover backgrounds are removed. The customer sees the fixed version before ordering.

Pricing

Antigro charges 5% per print-ready file. PrintReadySheets is €79 / $79 a month regardless of volume. At a $30 average sheet price, 5% is $1.50 per file, so the flat fee is cheaper from about 53 files a month.
